The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center hosts Kevin Burt & Big Medicine for Celebrate the Arts

Celebrate the Arts continues in Sheridan as The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center hosts Kevin Burt & Big Medicine performing at the WYO Theater at 7 p.m. Friday Aug. 18.

For five years, local arts organizations have come together to present Celebrate the Arts. This festival celebrates the vibrant visual, literary and performing arts communities within the Sheridan Region. Organizations involved include The Brinton Museum, SAGE Community Arts, Sheridan College’s Whitney Center for the Arts, Ucross Foundation, and the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Director of External Relations for the Ucross Foundation, Caitlin Addlesperger, spoke on this award winning blues artist. 

For more than 25 years, Burt has been electrifying audiences with his warm voice and powerful presence. Burt is an award-winning Blues artist, a 2019 Blues Music Award nominee and International Blues Challenge winner in three categories.

The WYO is inviting the public to join them as they Celebrate the Arts with Kevin Burt & Big Medicine Aug. 18.
