cvannoyOn Saturday, September 10, the third annual antique car show was held at the Trail End State Historic Site. A cool sunny day and the elegance of the Kendrick Mansion created the perfect backdrop for the 15 vintage cars.
Shari Shada, Superintendent at Trail End said this about the event.
Coyote and Deb Dowd talked about their vintage cars.
Katie Fryberger:
Period music played in the background, and visitors voted on Best in Show, which went to the 1938 Buick Special owned by Kelly Leeper and Best Restoration went to the 1955 Studebaker owned by Jim Bremkamp. Shada said the voting was very close in the competition.
The cars were parked in the driveway of the Trail End Mansion. “We limit the entries to cars made before the 1970s since the Kendrick family only owned the home until the late 1960s.” Shada said.
