GOLF - Today we wrap up the fall golf season with Sheridan High School coach Larry Martoglio. The State Championship team will return every player next year; they have all sophomores and one freshman in their roster of Top 10 players. Martoglio is excited for the prospects for Bronc golf over the next several seasons. As for the Lady Broncs, three girls played this fall – teams need five players to compete at the varsity level for team competition. Martoglio says they hope to get more Lady Broncs out next spring, and adds there is a real shortage of female high school players statewide. And finally today, Wyoming high school golf is really getting good, especially on the boys side. In local golf this week and next, Kendrick Golf Course and the Powder Horn will host season-ending tournaments. On Friday, October 3rd, Kendrick Golf Course will host the annual Mayor / City Council Scramble.
